Somewhere along the way, it became clear that “normies” actually exist… and they’re the majority. Meanwhile, wooks and ravers — some of the most loving, creative, community-driven people — are often misunderstood, underestimated, or quietly looked down on.

We dance, we create, we show up for each other — and we still work hard. We pay our own way. We build careers, businesses, art, and community. Yet the word wook has been used as a label that misses the truth.

So we decided to take it back.

Before Wook Society, the founder was one half of Mouthin’ Off, a creative project rooted in festival culture and self-expression. Mouthin’ Off is where you may have first heard the term “Midnight Trolls” or seen the first “I’m Literally Just a Wook” shirt.

After parting ways creatively, the journey continued — vending at festivals, creating by hand, and launching a vendor collective while searching for a rebrand that felt honest and fully aligned.

That space — between chaos and clarity — is where Wook Society was born.

This isn’t just about raving.
It’s about being a true free spirit.

A Wook is grounded and centered — even if they’re a little unhinged gremlin at heart. Loyal. Intentional. Capable. Someone who lives outside the lines but knows exactly who they are.

Wook Society exists for all wooks:
